To use your FSA/HSA for coaching or fitness programs, your provider may require a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN).

An LMN is a note from your doctor or healthcare provider that:

  • States your diagnosis or condition

  • Recommends a health or fitness coaching program as part of your treatment plan

  • Explains how this program will support your medical care

💡 Tip: You can usually request this letter during your next doctor’s appointment. I’m happy to provide a sample template you can share with your provider to make the process easy.
